The interim exam for my course is coming up on Monday which means going through the last year's work and compressing it into 15 minutes and outlining my successes and failings as well as explaining how I'm going to work these lessons into the next year.
Last night we had a fantastic talk from
Regina Peldszus. She does fascinating work in the environment of long term space flight. She looks at the character of the people involved and the unforseen and potential effects of the environment of space flight on these individuals. She's currently working on developing a high-fidelity space simulator so that thorough and entirely submersive experiences can be modelled.
